514 Outfit Post – My Five Looks

Please excuse the delay in getting these posts out… running around for these festivals and fashion weeks is always a bit of an energy absorber!  I slept a good twelve hours last night – totally conked out, unable to be woken till now.  I’m a baby when it comes to sleep – I absolutely need my eight to twelve hours to function as I’m supposed to!

So the 5 Looks, 5 Bloggers fashion show was a success (I’m just happy I got through it all without any major mishaps or slip-ups)!  Hats off to everyone involved – it was awesome to see so many personal styles come together and compliment each other so well (regardless of how different they may have been).  I am SO proud of all my beautiful models and want to extend a huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped me out and really reached out to me for this project!  I truly could not have done it without you (you know who you are).

Here’s a breakdown of the looks…

Gorgeous Levana opened my part of the show wearing this sleek Travis Taddeo dress paired with a single Micalla earring and leather Lovesick Corrective Apparel horsetail waist cincher…

While the exquisite Princesse closed the show in head to toe Denis Gagnon and Micalla jewels!

LOVE this girl!!!

I came out with Matthew at the end with the lineup wearing this gorgeous Denis Gagnon piece.  It was love at first sight when I went to pull looks in his atelier – only later did his wonderful assistant Mathieu inform me that this was one of the creations made exclusively for the Museum of Fine Arts exhibit!  I feel honoured to be the first and only person (it was previously made for a mannequin) to date to have worn this number (the fluidity of the fabric and see-through chain area makes for an irresistible combo).  I wore this with nude seamless underwear to give the effect of total nakedness underneath, and I’m pretty sure most were fooled!  People kept taking pictures then zooming in on their cameras to my crotch area (TMI I know, but I thought it was pretty hilarious – they needed proof!).

Oro stunned the crowd with her beauty and gorgeous tattoo’s wearing a Barila faux leather skirt, a Micalla jewelled top, and monkey hair Lovesick Corrective Apparel vintage cape.

Antoine brought sinister to life in this Olga Tigirlas t-shirt (from my personal collection), and Micalla chain vest (I want his tattoo’s too).

I felt like a jail ghost haunting the Place Ville Marie halls… tee hee.

Jordan werked it in this navy Arti Gogna cable-knit dress cinched at the waist with a leather Lovesick Corrective Apparel buckled number.

This girl made me laugh hysterically before the show… oh MAN she’s hilarious!

My love Matthew brought out his love for Navajo in this show stopping Barila cape layered up with the craziest Micalla chain necklace and matching bracelet.  Those Ray Ban sunnies are his own cool addition.

I LOVE MY TEAM!

I felt like Josee and the Pussycats with this hair (but LOVED it!).  Thank you to everyone who attended, supported, wrote about the event or sent cosmic love to all of us – you rock!

Time to get ready for the last day of the Festival *tear*… more posts coming tomorrow including a one-on-one Q&A with Fashion Television’s Jeanne Beker!

In the meantime check out the following photo albums posted to the F514 fanpage

OH YEAH!

Power to the 514
